EU Responsible Person appointment
Written mandate, EU contact address, PIF hosting and cooperation with competent authorities under Article 4.
Your EU Responsible Person for cosmetics under Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009
For manufacturers and brand owners established outside the EU. We review your product and, where it qualifies, act as your EU Responsible Person under Article 4 of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, notifying it in CPNP on your behalf.
Established in the EU · one notification covers all 27 Member States · accepted only after a compliance review
Before we accept an appointment, we review your product's Product Information File (PIF), Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) and labelling against Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. If your product is not yet ready for CPNP notification, we tell you before you pay for representation you cannot actually use.
This is not cosmetics certification. There is no EU authority that "certifies" cosmetic products - anyone claiming otherwise is selling you something that does not exist. What we do is take on a defined legal role under Article 4, keep your PIF available to authorities, and notify your product in CPNP.
Written mandate, EU contact address, PIF hosting and cooperation with competent authorities under Article 4.
A practical first pass on whether your product already has an EU economic operator covering this role.
Preparing and submitting your product notification in the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal.
Tell us your product category and where your company is established. We will qualify the next step before any mandate is signed.
